Work Philosophy

Food has always played an important role in my family and  I am very passionate about food and its effects on our world and culture. I think it is very interesting that food has such a major role in people's daily lives. This is why I have chosen to further my academic career and ultimately pursue and job in this area. I would love to be involved in more than just telling people what is right and wrong to eat. I want to get involved with changing the way people perceive food to encourage an overall healthier lifestyle.

Goals

I have many short term goals that I would like to accomplish this year. Those include improving my GPA, getting more hands on experience in the Nutrition field, and volunteering more in the community and on my university's campus.

My long term goals include graduating with my degree in nutrition and then finding a job where I feel passionate about working. These goals all revolve around the fact that I am very motivated to make a difference in people's lives and the way food fits into their lives.
