John Biela II of San Antonio, Texas, grew up in and around the real estate business. Watching his father, John A. Biela, deal and work in investment properties, John quickly gained an interest in residential real estate: investment properties; property management & leasing.
After graduating from Central Catholic High School in 2004, John went on to San Antonio College to study Real Estate Management, under Program Coordinator of Real Estate, Johnnie Rosenauer, Ed. D. John completed his core real estate education requirements through the San Antonio College Real Estate Program and received his real estate salesperson license from the Texas Real Estate Commission in 2007. While attending school full time, John also started work with Allied Real Estate Services; a small, independent real estate brokerage, where he worked as an appraisal assistant and buyer's agent. Seeing an opportunity to help fellow college students, John also started offering apartment locating services among his friends and peers.
In the summer of 2008, John joined Keller Williams Realty Legacy under Team Leader/Broker, Steven Gragg.
In 2008, John has approached by family friend and fellow REALTOR®, Aurora Sosa, to consider applying for the 2009 Class of The Texas REALTOR® Leadership Program; a new leadership-training program from the Texas Association of REALTORS® in association with the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. A selection for the class, John was honored to be part of the TRLP Class of 2009 and a graduate of The Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program. The program helped John to see the importance of industry involvement in the local, state, and national levels. John is currently a member of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®; Communication Committee and a member of the Young Professionals Network Greater San Antonio Chapter.
Seeing education as a key to success, John completed the San Antonio College Real Estate Program in 2009 where he received a San Antonio College Certificate-Level I in Real Estate Management and earned his AAS in Real Estate Management. Now attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, John is working towards his BBA in Real Estate Finance and Development and his broker's license.
