My motivation to gain a thorough understanding about food and nutrition is being able to educate people with nutritional information to promote a healthier life style. Modifying a patient's diet  and encouraging physical activity can lower blood glucose, reduce medication, and maintain cholesterol levels. I realize that this is not just a subject of interest to me but rather my life.I will develope ways to ensure that obesity  rates decline while the daily  nutritional reccomendations are met. Importantly, I will continue to commit to furthering my education.
