As an educator for the past 19 years, I am passionate about providing all students with learning opportunities to help them meet their individual goals. Likewise, I enjoy working with teams of educators to create and ensure all students meet their potential. I am a lifelong learner, always trying to improve myself and experiences I offer to students. Elementary education, instructional coaching and university level teaching have been the areas of focus throughout most of my career. While I spent over 18 years teaching elementary aged students in the public school setting, I found a new passion in working with adult learners through my summer university positions. I now work full time for Ashford University teaching adults in the college of education. I also work with a team of educators to support associate faculty in their teaching of undergraduate students. Outside of instructing, I also work with teams of educators to develop and revise course modules for the students in the college of education.
