As an educator for the past 17 years, I am passionate about providing all students with learning opportunities to help them meet their individual goals. Likewise, I enjoy working with teams of educators to create and ensure all students meet their potential. Elementary education, instructional coaching and university level teaching have been the areas of focus throughout most of my career. I work within my current district as an instructional coach to assist new and veteran teachers reach their classroom teaching goals. Additionally, I have university level teaching experience from summer adjunct positions for both Ashford university as well as Southern Illinois University. I found a new passion in working with adult learners through my summer university positions and hope to move into that area of education in the future. I recently completed my Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership through Edgewood college in May of 2017.
I hope to find a university level teaching position where I can utilize my trainings, education and experiences to foster a collaborative educational work environment to assist new teachers reach their professional goals in education.
