Summary

As an educator for the past 16 years, I am passionate about providing all students with learning opportunities to help them meet their individual goals.   Elementary education and reading instruction have been the areas of focus throughout most of my career.  I also work within my current district as an instructional coach to assist new and veteran teachers reach their classroom teaching goals.  Additionally, I teach university level courses in developmental reading during the summers, where my passion for working with new educators continues to grow.  I hope to use all that I have learned over the past several years to help other educators pursue their passions in teaching.  I am currently in the research phase of my dissertation and will receive my Ed.D. in May of 2017 from Edgewood college in Madison.  I very much look forward to pursuing a university level teaching position, as I know I can make a positive contribution to your staff.

Objective

I would like to find a university level teaching position where I can utilize my trainings, education and experiences to foster a collaborative educational work environment and assist new teachers entering the field of elementary education.
