About Morris Kharasch

Emergency physician Dr. Morris Kharasch is the chief of emergency medicine at NorthShore University Health System in Evanston, Illinois. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of patient care at four emergency departments in the region. A diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Morris Kharasch is a member of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a licensed physician and surgeon in the state of Illinois.

In addition to his work as a practicing physician, Dr. Morris Kharasch serves as a clinical associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is the clinical director of the Center for Simulation Technology and Academic Research as well as the director of special programs in the NorthShore Division of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Kharasch received his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to complete his residency at Northwestern University Medical School, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
