Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre
I was trained to work in all areas at the centre which includes Food and Beverage, Retail, Cultural Delivery, and Event Supervising. In the Food and Beverage section, I aided in helping the Chef prepare the food, Serve the food to the guest (i.e plated and appetizers). From the retail side of things I would interact with guests helping them find something special to take home. Cultural delivery required me to have some knowledge of different artifacts in the centre, and being comfortable talking to a large group of people. For the event supervising I would see over the set up and take down of different kinds of events like high end weddings and business meetings.
