Finance Accomplishments:

  • Partnered with management to research emerging international issues included: local government data, pricing process, central banking information and other demographic data.
  • Supervised two new staff through delegation, training and annual performance appraisal (360 degree feedback).
  • Processed more than 247 successful new trades in international currencies to raise between $2.0 billion to $5.0 billion in a given fiscal year over seven years.

  • Supervised monthly manual reconciliation of approximately 50 global bank statements against the general ledger, requiring close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Successfully tested new SAP ledger (SAP GL) system to automate the bank reconciliation process which led to process improvements that resulted in greater efficiency and accuracy of the accounting process, reducing reporting time by 50%.
  • Selected to be one of only three individuals responsible for preparing and verifying discrepancies in cash vouchers on a monthly basis.
  • Involved in annual audit procedures with external auditors.
