  • Taught object-oriented programming in a high-level language such as Java to students with significant prior programming experience. Emphasis was on program design issues.
  • Programming topics included control structures, arrays, sorting, algorithm analysis, recursion, program development, and implementation of abstract data types using linear structures and binary trees.
  • Students were also taught to use developer tools such as Eclipse 3.0/3.2.
  • Conducted a recitation section every week; wrote programming assignments, section activities and JUnit tests for grading purposes.
