Bostany Project

Developing a mobile based application (Android) developed during the period (April 2014 - May 2014). Through the integration of scientific models, this application determines the needs of plants and offers valuable tips for care, bu using sensors placed in the soil near the side of the plant.

Bahrain Indicators

February 2013 – May 2013, Developing a mobile (Android Platform) based application for Bahrain E-Government. The Mobile App provides information on statistical indicators released from the Central Information Organization.

Toyota’s Spare parts selling system

September 2000 - January 2001 The objectives of the project included: a- To achieve a fully automated system to enable Toyota to deliver their parts efficiently to their agents. a. To improve user interface and make the system more user friendly. Achieving this would be done through a combination of menus and cross-referencing of parts by model and make. The former would prove beneficial in getting to the appropriate section while the later will make finding particular parts or groups of parts much easier. b. Develop the database and the system to the point where it not only will help the company in general but will also make sure that once the initial installment is completed it will not prove difficult to maintain and upgrade them.

Mobile GIS

September 2000 - January 2001 A project submitted to the University of Bahrain. The objectives of the project were: a- To digitize the addresses of the subscribers in mobile services. b- To locate and find the coordinates of the subscribers’ domain virtually. c- To Develop and redesign the database of the subscribers to meet the needs of the new system. d- To link the system and the database to the World Wide Web (according to subscribers’ decision).

BSc. Graduation Project

In collaboration with one of my colleagues we developed an electronic voting system for the IT college at the university of Bahrain to be used in the elections of the IT society.

The system was divided into two parts:

  • Poll-site voting (my colleague was responsible for it)
  • Remote Internet voting (My part).

The Development of a system for the online meeting rooms reservation to benefit for MobiNil Company in Egypt (Telecommunications Company).
