Post Project Appraisal(PPA) is a semi-annual comprehensive assessment of Saudi Aramco's multibillion capital projects. PPA assesses the overall cycles of the projects including planning, execution, and operation. The main purpose of PPA is to identify lessons learned and best practices to support corporate management in making decisions and achieving better results. PPA supports companies to achieve efficiency and productivity. The exercise results are presented every six months to the Management Committee of Saudi Aramco including the CEO

Material Projects Leader (OMLP)

GE Hungary

Led four major material projects in GE Hungary to reduce a slow moving inventory for the amount of $1 Billion. One of the major projects I executed during this assignment was to reduce GE's massive inventory by identifying the parts that can be ordered“ Just in Time” through historical data, this initiative led to around $200 Million of inventory reduction

Operation Leader (OMLP)

GE Aviation

Operation Leader for the combustion liners production line in McAllen Texas, which included 30 highly skilled operators. We successfully improved the productivity of the line from 82% to 96% through eliminating non-value added processes. We also reduced the cost for each set of liners by 25% through improving productivity and quality. I also completed a CAPSTONE project during this assignment that improved the quality(First Time Yield) through optimizing the inspection process. The other achievement was to introduce and implement the method of KANBAN to the GE plant in McAllen, Texas

I was based in Belfort, France to qualify GE european suppliers for Frame 9 Gas Turbine blades and rings. I successfully mastered then trained GE suppliers on PLM ENOVIA, which is a central platform to qualify suppliers and parts. I also completed a Lean SixSigma project in Supplier Quality, which improved the quality of a major GE supplier in France by optimizing its inspection measures

Process Quality Engineer for the gas turbines' hot gas path (HGP) production line in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The main target of this assignment was to improve the first time yield (FTY) of the HGP line, which was 48% when I started the assignment. We successfully achieved an average of 80% FTY by the end of the assignment
