Provided strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps for Qatar National Education Data System(QNEDS); The project started as a 6 months data warehouse project, then got extended for 1 year as an internal BI portal and according to the positive resonance it got extended for another 2 years, during which it was evolved to public educational portal with eServices including the Teacher ePortfolio for Qatar Office for Registration, Licensing and Accreditation(QORLA) Adopted and communicated new concepts, ideas, and best practices to the implementation team. Conducted project lessons learned sessions between phases and socialized input with customer and team for better planning and delivery. Provided architectural guidance, technology and process recommendations in responding to different issues occurred in the QNEDS and QORLA projects in a way that contributed to a major cost reduction. Led a team of 7 members while conducting health check workshop for Branch Automation Solution project for a leading Qatari Bank, responsibilities included planning and managing the workshop activities, define the approach, developing and implementing an action plan for the recommended outcomes

Senior Software Architect, IT Significantly contributed in defining the overall architecture for the company's owned integrated Data Analysis and Reporting Environment(iDARE) Played a critical role in the Audit Retail Standard project(ARS), an online platform to perform audits for the automotive industry in Europe. The project covered outlets in 12 European countries. Project main subject areas were Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Web Reporting and Web Portal using MS SQL Server 2000, J2EE Complete ownership of the design, development and maintenance of the information layer, including Data Model, end to end ETL processes, Reporting data layer using Power Designer, MS SQL Server 2000, T-SQL, DTS Packages, SQL XML for iDARE, Customer Report Online(CR), and Audit Retail Standards(ARS) projects Designed and implemented an xml based reporting framework leveraging SQL XMLfor iDARE Refectory of the legacy reporting logic asset to design and build efficient, scalable, reusable metadata based reporting components using MS Transact SQL. These components have been successfully used in 2 different projects; implementation time for the 2nd Project was couple of days Built Audit Retail Standard Questionnaire content tracking reports to monitor and control the Questionnaire content and the result of the ETL Processes using DB Objects, XML, and HTML. The only software developer, at that time, had to leave for critical reasons, after 1 week orientation sessions(originally planned to be 1.5 month) I successfully managed to do the following for 1 year Successfully supported and resolved all production issues Modified and Re-Engineered many parts of the Package components to support new requirements and fix critical bugs Fixed a Target Calculator application to work on production mode for the first time Successfully developed the 2nd release of SOCRATES(an offline reporting system used to provide an interactive reporting application for market research data collected in a number of market research projects used worldwide), using Delphi5, This application is used by all dealers of one of the world's leaders in Automotive Industry
