Graduate Research Assistant

Oklahoma State University
Currently, I work as a research assistant in the concrete material lab. In this period, I participated in numerous projects dedicated towards evaluating fly ash as material and cement substitute using cutting edge techniques such as X-ray computed tomography, X-ray fluorescence and scanning electron microscope. In addition to working on several other topics such as cement hydration mechanism, Shrinkage, Alkali Silica Reaction (ASR) and Chloride penetration.

During this period, I participated in a project dedicated towards evaluating the cracking potential of High Performance Concrete used in Bridges through newly invented experimental tool "Pie test apparatus".

It is multi-disciplinary engineering field consultancy. Worked at the Concrete Department and participated in computer modeling and designing of the following project(s):  AlZohoor Sporting Club, AlKhama'el Social Club and AlSalam Hospital - New Cairo Branch.  Park Avenue Shopping Mall, Cairo Gardens Residential Compound and Numerous Villas.

In addition to rich experience in work shop drawing and drafting of reinforced concrete elements.
