Tapped by CIO to lead massive change agendam globalization, organizational restructuring and evolution in preparation for CIO transition.

  • Executed extensive change agenda with new CIO: implemented Plan-Build-Operate-Control structure, re-organized and reduced staff; Infrastructure Stability and Incident Management; Total Cost Management approach.
  • Head of I.T. for all International offices. Managed technology and I.T. staff on four continents.
  • Expanded vendor relationships, off-shoring, and hiring to meet business demand growth of 60% over 3-years.
  • Quarterbacked annual budget construction and approval. Executed comprehensive 40% budget reduction in 09.

  • Launched evolutionary program to move globalization from an afterthought to forethought - branded "bake it in".
  • Designed organizational structure (centralized, regional, follow-the-sun), hired regional directors and built teams.

  • Improved client satisfaction and eliminated paper via Extranets with robust, user-configurable, web-based Transactions and Holdings "views", Client Cash Flow transactions, and improved research subscription tools.
  • Overhauled Client Extranets by delivering three major systems over three years, replacing original systems.
  • Improved client extranet experience globally through network acceleration, caching, and distributed web servers.
  • Reduced risk of Trading errors and improved workflow for opening/closing accounts by designing and delivering comprehensive Account Information Management (AIM) upstream to all tier-1, mission-critical systems.

  • Partnered with Trading and Portfolio Management Systems Teams to deliver multiple initiatives to support new security types and new client structures. Played key role in initial Derivatives work and expansion of Insurance.
  • Improved Hedge Funds investor satisfaction with robust Hedge Fund extranet and improved data services.
  • Transformed Client Reporting via a comprehensive report management tool suite and a set of Data Marts.
  • Revolutionized publishing group workflow with auto-rendered presentations and work queue systems.

  • Ensured regulatory obligations were met in delivering a Personal Trading system to check for Code of Ethics conflicts with client trades, and by implementing tools and reports for 13f and 13g filings and proxy voting.
