Responsibilities included proposal creation, staffing, resource allocation, sales lead generation, and account management for content creation business. Company was acquired by American Reprographics Company in October 2009.

Specific Accomplishments:

  • Designed and produced functional "ROI Calculator" that iteratively quantified the value of BIM to the prospective buyers. Utility deployed by sales group as essential device in demonstrating the business proposition for an evolving technology
  • Successfully submitted company's qualifications on two General Service Administration Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts to multiple service providers. Project included accurate completion of all standard forms, gathering of staff bios, and creation of presentable project portfolio

Directed quality control for company's Data Acquisition department. Responsibilities included creation of accurate and relevant measurement systems, completion of quantitative analysis and timely reporting of departmental performance across all organizational levels including executive, sales, and customer care.

Specific Accomplishments:

  • Specified and developed daily performance reporting program for Data Acquisition operation, providing sales product performance data used during sales presentations. Notable performance metrics included reports issued, reports updated, bid documents acquired, bid date lead time, and low bid timeliness
  • Initiated salary adjustment program for all individual contributors resulting in formalization of all job descriptions and standardization of salary ranges for each job type
  • Introduced performance objectives for all Data Acquisition job types used by business to reliably forecast and manage staff performance, resulting in new report productivity increase of over 20% for 2008

Provided leadership and operational management for project reporting organization, including over 275 reporters, managers and analysts. Department was accountable for producing content required to deliver approximately $80M in subscription revenue annually. Responsibilities included management of $15M departmental budget, planning and executing organizational strategies, driving performance improvement, and reporting results to executive management.

 Specific Accomplishments:

  • Initiated and executed re-tooling of data acquisition operational processes to challenge market leader, F.W. Dodge. Effort yielded YOY (2007 v 2008) increase in output of >20%
  • Orchestrated closure of 50+ operational locations into 3 regional operational centers within a 90 day period, ultimately resulting in $3M annual in operational cost savings. Project completed without disruption to product quality or product delivery
  • Crafted technical processes, articulated communication, and implemented training that transformed methods for acquiring the project documents, increasing percent of documents acquired electronically from 10% in 2005 to 45% in 2008. Net result was a dramatic reduction in courier and shipping costs, approximately $550,000 per year

Developed sixteen person customer service team which provided account management and call center      support for over 15,000 national, regional, and local accounts. Responsibilities included strategic account   management, issue resolution and resource allocation. Departmental responsibilities greatly expanded  during this period due to introduction of more sophisticated, web-based product solutions. 

  Specific Accomplishments:

  • Introduced system to electronically document and track customer concerns reducing average issue resolution time from average of 24+ hours to 4 hours
  • Established "client focused" call center reports, providing the business quantified intelligence about total call volume, response time, talk time, and time to resolution
