I joined Fournier in 1991, expressing my interest for an international assignment, particularly in Eastern Europe. After 3 Months in the French Headquarters, I was assigned to Prague as a permanent delegate in order to prepare Fournier strategy for entering these markets.

In 1992, I was involved in take-over plans within the frame of privatizations and in parallel, I studied the possibility of entering directly, thanks to the establishment of an own commercial organization.

My project was approved and I was selected to run the newly created company (30 employees including 20 medical representatives).

The plans were by far over passed. In 1995, Fournier was listed as the 7th most successful company on the Czech market in sales (worldwide ranking 70!), sales amounting to 500 MMCZK (€15 MM) (full P& L responsibility).

I started operations also in Slovakia and Hungary in 1994, according the same model.
