Developing programs, content and events that cater to our commercial ISV ecosystem across the entire partner lifecycle.  Developing support resources that span the need from planning for cloud computing success, through proven build design patterns and best practices from the sales and marketing leader in cloud computing,

Sep 2008 - Present Foundation Mentor

My most recent non-profit project has been to assist the Bridge School with implementing to manage donations, outreach and events.  Extensive use of Apex Code and Visualforce was used to provide for specific customizations to the non-profit template.  One of the first examples of Sites technology in action, I developed a web based registration system for campers and trainers that provides for much needed scale and convenience for the families involved as well as the Bridge School staff itself.  This project is a featured Site on the Sites Gallery page at

Helped develop strategy and program to cater to strategic ISVs and technology alliances.  Direct involvement with key partner's strategic planning across product alignment, marketing programs and go-to-market execution.

Sr. Director, AppExchange Partner Enablement

Responsible for managing the AppExchange recruiting team and processes, as well as the technical enablement team for ISVs building apps for distribution via the AppExchange. Continued to manage the AppExchange Incubator staff and programs.   Primary focus at this time was building application pipeline, process automation, management systems, targeted growth of apps and partners.

Managing Director, AppExchange Incubators

Developed AppExchange Incubator strategy, managed events, activities and the colloquium series of talks for Incubator member companies.  Worked with 37 companies to further their adoption of SaaS by leveraging the platform and providing insights to the Salesforce Way of delivering Software as a Service.

Director, AppExchange Technical Alliances

  • Founded and managed global team of technical resources to assist ISVs in the development and publishing of applications to the AppExchange
  • Developed and launched the AppExchange Certification Program to validate security compliance of apps published to the AppExchange.

Worked on enlisting our first app to the AppExchange (Sept. 2005 Dreamforce) all the way through the posting of the 800th app (Jan. 2007).

  • Managed strategic relationships with Microsoft, Borland, Sun and BEA for the launch of Sforce in 2003

Emmperative, Inc.

After the acquisition of by Proctor & Gamble Internet Ventures, I helped to develop the alliances program at Emmperative.  Developed and managed strategic alliances with Accenture, Madge Web, Placeware and Exodus Communications.

Launched the Emmperative University initiative, including editing the course curriculum and conducting early training seminars for partners in North America and Europe.

VP, Professional Services

Magnifi was an early Application Service Provider (ASP), specifically focused on Enterprise Content Management (Brand Asset Management and Marketing Automation tools) for the Global Fortune 500. As an early employee, helped to build out the Santa Clara and UK data centers and was an original member of the worldwide Magnifi Professional Services organization.

Notable implementations were Coca-Cola, Philips, Universal Studios, P&G, WPP and TBWA/Chiat/Day.

After leaving Honeybee Technology, I consulted on business operations for various strategic accounts and started to explore Java and the Internet as a platform for business apps.

Honeybee Technology

Honeybee was an early Macintosh developer of Accounting and Project Management software for Media and Creative Services industries.  Headquartered in Montreal, Canada with offices in NYC and Palo Alto, CA.  Fourth Power Accounting and Job Central were our flagship products.  Major accounts included JWT, Regis McKenna, Inc., Chiat/Day and McCann-Erickson.  Honeybee had a successful public offering on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX Venture:HBT) in 1998, but has since ceased business operations (as of 2007).

Early inspiration from Guy Kawasaki to "get serious and move to the Valley" changed my life forever.

The topics covered in this course sequence include classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, the general and special theories of relativity, electromagnetism, cosmology, and black holes
