I am a passionate information manager with a focus on creating sustainable, user centered tools that encourage innovation and knowledge sharing without choking autonomy. I am currently the Information Services Director for The Miami Herald Media Co. in Miami, Fl where my primary role is to work with a diverse news content and technology groups to develop and execute information management strategies for a growing digital collection.

I bring five years experience with building and implementing multiple corporate intranet sites for a media company.

Honors & Awards

  • Pulitzer Prize, Best Local Reporting 2007 - House of Lies.  Was part of a Pulitzer Prize investigative team that uncovered breakdowns in Miami-Dade County's affordable housing program.
  • Recognized by the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in their 2008 Workshops on Journalism, Race & Ethnicity for outstanding work in the Miami Herald's piece, “A Rising Voice: Afro-Latin Americans.”
