Product Assistant


Working with Product team undertaking variant of work including: Assisting in the research, planning and briefing of suitable bed stock, ensuring saleability and presentation of commitment on website/brochure at all times, producing relevant brochure sections and adhering to a consistent, accurate style in producing the brochure, conducting competitor analysis, ensuring the prices are competitive. Responsibilities included conducting marketing research on Products and Liaising with journalists, tourist offices and trade representatives. Maintaining excellent relationships with industry professionals and Monitoring three separate websites, ensuring ultimate functionality of the site and ensuring that accurate, up to date information is displayed at all times. I also assisted in training and relief of the reservation, sales and PDS teams, Researching innovative and new products and services.

 Main responsibilities included: Organizing transportation, lift passes, ski hire, etc for touring groups from around the globe, planning and coordination of all evening activities. Assisting in budgeting for tour groups and the company in general while being emergency assistance for injuries and general queries (responsible 7 days a week). The position involved extensive problem solving and working under extreme time constraints. I had to have effective communication in both English and German because I was mediator between Group Leader/ Hotel and the company.

As Events and Marketing Coordinator I had Management of the Student Liaison Body as my main priority which included 22 student volunteers. Other task included: Producing and implementing Marketing Mix for all events organized on and off campus, arranging and executing sufficient social, sport and cultural activities for Varsity College Students, organizing sponsorship for various campus activities (including but not limited to: fashion shows, formal balls, parties, club events, theme days, fundraising events, cultural outings, Battle of the Bands, sports days). I managed budgets and cash flow of all events, and was team manager for all sports teams at Varsity College. As well as conducting interviews with members, students, event winners and local press.
