Reviewed files. Provided briefings, training, advice and guidance related to personnel security reporting requirements; i.e., outside employment. Prepared communications which set forth security policies and related requirements.  Independently planned, scheduled, coordinated, carried out and monitored the effectiveness of the operation of security programs. Interpreted, designed, developed, evaluated and sometimes installed protection systems and devices. Developed new approaches and techniques for use by others.
  • Brigade Operations Officer (2009-2010): Served as a staff officer to the brigade S3 and brigade commander responsible for planning, coordinating, integrating, and synchronizing operations, force protection, force structure, and employment of a brigade consisting of over 1200 soldiers. Prepared and published operations orders, taskings, and standard operating procedures covering the full spectrum of military police and chemical operations in Hawaii. Prepared, assimilated, synchronized, and published the brigade near-term calendar coordinated with 8th Theater Sustainment Command, 25th Infantry Division, and United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) for all military police and chemical operations in support of the Overseas Contingency Operations.
  • Battalion Executive Officer (2009-2010): Ensured accountability and maintenance of $4,000,000 of equipment Responsible for criminal investigative support to 170,000 personnel on 101 installations in Hawaii, Korea, Okinawa and Japan. Coordinated Criminal Investigation Command support to Army, Joint and Combined Forces war plans and exercises. Managed a battalion staff of 27 personnel, to include Department of Defense Civilians, Japanese and Korean National Civilians, and Korean Army Augmentees.
  • Battalion Training and Intelligence Officer (2006-2008): Directed, supervised, and coordinated the planning, collection, evaluation, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination of all-source intelligence and counter intelligence at all echelons. Performed multi-disciplined collection management and coordination of surveillance activities, and advised on the use and employment of intelligence resources at all echelons. Processed background/security related investigations. Provided oral security briefings. Reviewed records and information on investigations. Advised on methods to handle, store, and destroy classified information. Ensured the safety and integrity of all facilities, equipment, and personnel. Experienced with specialized security assignments related to Information and Industrial Security.  Provided guidance on established security policies and procedures. Analyzed security procedures to provide clarification to office personnel.
  • Research Analyst and Special Projects Officer (2003-2004): Supervised research and program evaluation functions as they relate to the Provost Marshal Operations Training Initiative.
