I)Upgrade ABU ALI GOSP projectSenior Mechanical Inspector under SAUDI ARAMCO GIS contract.II) Worked in the Vendor inspection department of ABS as TPI. a) Client: SIPCHEM (Olyan Descon fabrication yard. Jubail)Stage wise inspection for the fabrication, and testing of storage tanks. (Code used: API 650).Job responsibility includes

·Review and approve quality control procedures.

·Receiving inspection of plates, pipes and fittings.

·Surveillance of fabrication and welding activities.

·Inspection for dimensions like lapping, banding, out of roundness, out of plumpness etc

·Radiographic film review, Verification of RT percentage (Required number of spots in

Vertical seams, horizontal seams, T joints etc)

·Review of final test pack.

·Review of the tank history

(Previous repair details, Pressure testing details, NDT summary, repair procedures etc)

·Inspect the overall condition of the tank (Lapping, Banding, out of roundness/plumpness etc)

·Corrosion evaluation of shells, bottom plates, critical zone etc as per their respective

code requirements.

·Suggest extend of repair and type of repair required quoting the code requirements.

b) Client: Saudi Aramco (Shedgum)In service inspection of Mud storage tanks at Shedgum Tank Farm.            (Code used: API 653).Job responsibilities include

·Review of the tank history

(Previous repair details, Pressure testing details, NDT summary, repair procedures etc)

·Inspect the overall condition of the tank (Lapping, Banding, out of roundness/plumpness etc)

·Corrosion evaluation of shells, bottom plates, critical zone etc as per their respective

code requirements.

·Suggest extend of repair and type of repair required quoting the code requirements.

c) Client: Combined Operations (Kuwait)           

Internal FBE coating inspection at Al Qahthani pipe coating terminal, Dammam.

III) Maintain Potential Facilities Offshore (LTA)

Senior Mechanical Inspector under SAUDI ARAMCO GIS contract assigned to Maintain Potential Facilities Offshore (LTA) for a period of one month. The inspection activities cover on-going fabrication of jackets and decks at the fabrication shops and the fabrication yard at Dammam Port; including but not limited to welding, coating, Pneumatic Test, welder qualification.

IV) Khursaniyah Gas Plant Project

Senior Mechanical Inspector under SAUDI ARAMCO GIS contract assigned to Khursaniyah Gas Plant Project. The inspection activities cover on-going construction works at various process areas - 1-DGA, SRU, NGL, etc. including but not limited to: Welding, Piping, hydro test inspection, MCC walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

Monitor and/or perform quality activities at all stages of projects.Assure that contractor’s work is in compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract.

Principal Duties

  • Perform “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
  • Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
  • Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
  • Review and evaluate Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
  • Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
  • Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
  • Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed
