Since 2003, Mimi Yang has served as an attorney for Morrison & Foerster, LLP. She is licensed by the California State Bar to practice law. She focuses on financial services litigation, class action suits, and internal and SEC investigations. Her usual daily responsibilities involve motion practice, court arguments, and responding to pleadings. Mimi Yang has acted as the lead associate and main client contact for a number of Morrison & Foerster's Chinese clients. Her clients include multinational corporate entities and prominent individuals. Over the course of her legal career, she has provided representation to U.S. Bank, Capital One, Chinese electronics manufacturers, and large Chinese investment banks. She holds a strong record of successfully defending clients subject to government investigations.Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Mimi Yang earned her Juris Doctorate from New York University's esteemed School of Law in 2003. She served as the Articles Editor for the New York University Law Review and was an active member of the Asian Pacific Law Students Association. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science.
