Responsible for all aspects of successfully running this business and related entities. 

Major accomplishments include:  led employee, client and shareholder satisfaction levels to all time highs; restructured the organization; overhauled the marketing and sales functions; implemented a company wide employee Leadership Development Process; strengthened internal operating processes to enhance delivery of service and reduce costs; enhanced time-to-market for new product development; significantly improved cash, tax and financial results; overall emphasis on improving quality and excellence in all functional areas.  Stepped up the emphasis on new product development and helping clients grow their revenue and reduce operating costs.

A member of the executive leadership team responsible for establishing strategy, policy and determining major decisions affecting the organization.  Reporting to the President, with responsibility for all financial and administrative functions of the company to include acquisitions, accounting, treasury, tax, purchasing, fleet, financial planning, analysis, information technology, customer care, central station, human resources, employee development, insurance, legal, real estate, and independent auditors.  

Major accomplishments include:  successfully leading the process and negotiating fifteen acquisitions, streamlining and simplifying all internal and external financial reporting, enhancing internal controls, overhauling all property, casualty and group insurance programs, consolidating and renegotiating numerous vendor contracts, renegotiating all banking programs resulting in lower fees and an expanded line of credit, leading a cross functional team that reduced parts inventory by $800K, reducing accounts receivables by over $1 million, building a team of professionals, leading the organization through two major software conversions, creating an employee leadership development program, and assisting in the assessment of business units' performance to enhance profit and sales growth.

This former NYSE Company is the recognized leader in providing innovative and quality security solutions to over 20,000 commercial clients through its 225 plus offices and 45,000 plus employees worldwide.  From 1992 to 1998, Pinkerton's annual revenue grew from $650 million to over $1 billion.

In this leadership position identified Patrol & Alarm Response Service as a significant growth opportunity.  Developed and executed a business plan that profitably grew this Service throughout Pinkerton's largest business unit, representing 130 field offices in the U.S.  for this Service, directed market research and analysis, development and implementation of customized marketing plans; set revenue and profit goals; selling nationally, regionally, and locally; designing price models; implementing best practices throughout the organization; development of automated resources; analyzing business unit performance; coaching and training field sales and operations personnel.  Resulted in 22% annual compounded growth with profit margins twice that of traditional security services.

Director Financial Services

Directly managed the World Headquarters Payroll, Billing, Accounts Receivables, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fleet, Property Management, Travel, Uniform Program, Telecommunications, Central Records and Mail/Copy Room functions.

Led the financial due diligence for targeted domestic and international acquisitions.  Was a team member in operational due diligence and negotiations of larger acquisition targets.  Assisted in selling and negotiating large client contracts including the largest security contract in the world, General Motors, representing $100 million annually to Pinkerton's.  Teamed with field management on major prospect proposals, client presentations, national account negotiations, contract start-ups and trouble shooting poor performing business units.
