About Mike Sato

With over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, Mike Sato serves as president of Chicago-based Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty and its sister company Jameson Commercial Real Estate. He has handled an extensive range of duties within the real estate sector, including development and sales, property leasing and management, and corporate relocation and disposition of distressed assets. Within five years of joining Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Mike Sato helped lead a more than 400-percent increase in sales volume for the sole Chicago and North Shore affiliate of Sotheby’s International Realty.

Over the course of his career as one of Chicago’s top-performing real estate professionals, Mr. Sato has executed more than $500 million in real estate sales. He has received multiple awards, including the Eagle Award from the Chicago Association of REALTORS (CAR) in recognition of his leading sales figures and the Good Neighbor Award in acknowledgement of his contributions to innovative, precedent-setting property rehabilitation projects.

Actively involved in several industry organizations, Mike Sato belongs to the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago, AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America) and the Chicago Women’s Council of Realtors. Mike was a former member of the Board of Directors and finance committee for CAR.

Concerned with assisting Chicago area residents affected by homelessness and poverty, Mr. Sato's company supports the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the Cara Program, a support, professional skills training, and job placement provider for those facing barriers to employment, and the Emergency Fund for homelessness prevention.
