Work Exp & Work Interest

Work Exp: I have almost a year's worth of notable work experience I also have a lot of professional training in all technological fields. I have been at a job training facility for 11 months. I have my diploma and have my A+ certification along with many other certifications. I am more than qualified for any position I set my mind on

Work Interest: I have a few companies I hope to work for in my future years to come. Oculus, Microsoft, Apple...But for now any Technical or Innovative career will suffice. It will train me, build me and eventually get me to my ultimate goal as a Technologist.

Computer Technician

Cooperative Computer Ministry

Responsibilities:

I did full time hands on work. I had to take apart and fix all PC Hardware, I also had to take off legacy Operating Systems and put on smoother and newer OS's. I went all over the Memphis Area fixing networking issues, handling customers and helping them with any issues they had PC or not.

Accomplishments:

The most important Accomplishment I had while working with CCM was being able to be taught and learn from Nathan Hill. He taught me the true meaning of team effort. I gained a lot of hands on experience in my field, I was also taught that its not just about  working on PC's but working with and helping people in need of our expertise, building a reputation within the community and building a network through out the city.

Student Employment

Benjamin L. Hooks Job Corps Center

Responsibilities:

I was a Dorm Vice President  and  Ambassador. I was the Student Government Association Vice President Nominee.

With those 3 positions I learned all the managerial traits and skills. I had o manage and train 20-30 new students a weeks. I managed around the center a maximum amount of about 200-300 students. I was their peer but also their supervisor. I trained them for real life situations and finding a career. I monitored all their behavior and also kept track of their needs and appealed to corporate directors for specific need of the students. I kept track of all the networking on the student computers as well as the staff computers. I also helped the residential advisers with any and all computer and dorm problems.

Accomplishments:

I went up in the leadership system very quickly. I completed the program s with honors and set the standard for newer student employees.

Responsibilities:

To constantly perform independent living skills within the dorm. To study the 8 career success standards, and perform on my duties as technician and complete all my certification exams in the work day. Fix phones, computers, and maintain all computers, following all workplace procedures. 

Accomplishments:

I became vice president of the wing and the center, I taught people how to push for success. I learned more Multi-Cultural awareness, I have had to be around people from everywhere and have learned to maintain a good composure.
