Summary

I have been a certified Project Management Professional since 2002.

I started my career in the R&D organization at Nortel.  My technical background gives me a deeper understanding during the engineering and configuration phases of projects.

I am detail oriented, focused on relationship building and like to be the "point person" leading a project.

A few of my strengths are:

Leadership • Relationship Building • Follow-Through

Strong Communications • Sound Judgment • Team Player

...but don't just take my word for it!   ------>

Interest

Running

I caught the running bug 5 years ago and have been running a few times a week ever since.  I ran my first marathon in 2008 in Frederick, MD, and I am training for the 2009 New York City Marathon - running with Team Run To Remember which is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association.

You can read about my running madness on my blog.

Israeli Dancing

I have enjoyed Israeli Dancing as a social, recreational and cultural activity since I was first introduced to it in college.  I have performed in Israeli Dance Troupes in Detroit, Dallas and in the Washington, DC area - and even made a guest appearance with the Parparim troupe in New York to perform at a special event at Shea Stadium!

I currently lead a weekly recreational Israeli Dance group at Ohr Kodesh Congregation and co-direct Yesodot - an Israeli Dance Troupe for Teens.

Richard DuBroff

"You have a rare blend of being helpful and a team player yet forceful, demanding, and leading when required...I am impressed by the way you arrived on 5 November and within the first week I could tell the impact you were having.  Moty and others of the Telrad team hold you in high esteem - and this is especially noteworthy as they were extremely skeptical of having a Nortel expatriate on their site."

Tom Hartford

"Mike is effective in coordinating efforts and bringing resolution to technical issues.  He is willing to challenge decisions and understand the risks associated with these outcomes that may impact the effectiveness of the organization.  From a product point of view, he has been effective as a customer advocate, I would welcome his presence on any future customer interface team."
