My key roles as a Primary planner were a day to day supply chain planning and movement of frozen products from the point of production to the cold storage facilities across the country and a few SADC regions at the most cost effective and profitable model moreover at a best level of customer service. With the use of in-house planning and communication tools, Plato and Plan Forge, the plans were completed and communicated with all relevant stakeholders and team players to ensure adherence and an optimum utilisation of resources. Constantly engaged and initiated Continuous improvement projects within the department to ensure that our customers are serviced at a best standard. Diagnosing the past failures and their causal factors, then initiated recommend and implemented the best plan to prevent a reoccurrence on the next period. My availability to attend and resolve customer queries 24hours, negotiating best rates with external long haul hauliers which will not compromise delivery standards were my additional responsibilities constantly adding measurable value within the operation. On an ad hoc basis data was diagnosed to measure performances on service level with our strategic partners, this afforded the operation an opportunity to improve trends for best customer service. This was a one month project, I was recommended by a Director I worked with voluntarily in 2005 while seeking opportunities gain experience in Public Relations. South Africa Hosted for the first time, the 18th World Petroleum Congress (18WPC) in 2005. Several Public Relations companies were sub contracted and Matemeku Investment was amongst the subcontracted.
