Head of Production Department/Production Director

PD have strong connection with GM, Programing and Technical department and will be responsible for managing and coordinating all of the network’s live, live to tape and taped productions.
Day to day management and execution of all of the network’s production including live, live to tape and taped event programming.
Leading all projects through the production pipeline, including creative development, pre-production, principle photography, post-production, and delivery.
Handling the timely review, edits, and approvals for all preliminary and final project treatments, outlines, shooting scripts, production schedules, and budgets.
Manage production budget for the network’s programming, develop storylines and editorial for live and taped event content.
Delegating tasks, monitoring job status and time management
- Improve workflows and processes and team ability
Interface with other Department heads to ensure smooth operational efficiency of projects
Works collaboratively with the EVP, Programming.
Working with VP of Content & Programming to prioritize and maximize productivity of internal resources, scheduling to ensure that all production and operation staffing is properly planned and scheduled.
Hires and manages the department’s editing team to ensure that all programming conforms to production quality and format.
Manages the production staff assigned to live event programming with special focus on the execution of broadcast graphics.
Works collaboratively with creative services, sales and marketing departments to ensure effective execution of the network’s programming and support for those department’s initiatives.
Works collaboratively to manage the editorial and execution of the network’s 24/7 bottom line ticker.
Maintaining relationships with all global production resources, including key freelance crew, vendors, and production equipment retailers.
Integrating new technologies and best practices in all aspects of cinematography, non-linear editing, and motion graphics, while offering ways to implement these emerging trends/technologies.
