Mickel Malek

Mickel Malek, DDS, is an experienced dental professional who most recently treated patients at Santa Barbara Dental Care. He offered patients complete smile makeovers and an implant service that included on-site fabrication capacities and 3-D CAD/CAM prosthetic milling. A preferred Invisalign provider, Dr. Mickel Malek also undertook wisdom teeth extraction and molar endodontic care.

Dr. Malek completed studies at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In the late 1980s, he founded Dental Pride, Inc., as a practice dedicated to addressing unmet dentistry needs in the community. He pioneered the use of digital patient radiographic records in creating a paperless office environment.

From 2005 to 2013, he led Smile Spa in Tucson, Arizona, which featured 10 operatories in combination with a wellness and rejuvenation center and med spa. The practice emphasized affordability while delivering-leading edge care that featured the latest technologies. Mickel Malek, DDS, maintained a strong community presence in Tucson and helped sponsor an annual Boys and Girls Club fundraiser.
