Possessing nearly a decade of medical sales experience, Michelle Stanford currently works for Medtronic CardioVascular. Medtronic, a global medical technology company, develops innovative therapies to improve the treatment of chronic diseases. As an award-winning Senior Principal Coronary Sales Representative, Michelle Stanford works with hospitals in the greater Los Angeles area, Palm Springs, San Bernardino, and several other California locations. She specifically handles sales for Medtronic’s coronary and peripheral vascular interventional products.Prior to coming to Medtronic in 2006, Stanford spent three years in the position of Therapy Specialty Representative at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Working in the company’s cardiovascular division in Santa Monica, California, she represented some of the best-known pharmaceutical drugs available today. Her considerable success as a sales representative led to her promotion as a Cardiovascular Expert for Pfizer. She also received several sales awards during her time with the company.A graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she studied biology and biochemistry at the institution. Stanford received the school’s ICSC Scholars Award and was also a recipient of the Edwin and Margaret Park Scholarship. An accomplished student, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry in 2000.Outside of her professional duties, Michelle Stanford takes an active role in giving back to the community. She supports the work of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and Catholic Charities Organization. Stanford also participates in the St. Monica Catholic Community’s SMASH (St. Monica Academic and Spiritual Heritage). Occurring annually, the SMASH event raises funds for student scholarships and other school needs.
