I just began working with them this past year, and we had a GREAT turnout! We had a total of 44 participants throughout the program. We will continue to partner together to provide tennis lessons for the Roselle area.

Come prepared with an agenda for lessons and focus on different aspects of the sport. The first tennis instructor that the park district has ever had. This past year, the program had four classes with a total of 30 participants. The program will be in its fifth year in 2010.

This was the first park district I began teaching at. The second I started teaching tennis lessons, I knew that it would be something I would want to continue in the future. I started off teaching with another instructor, but after the first year, I began teaching lessons on my own.

·Volunteered with Mel Phillips (professional tennis instructor) to teach tennis to inner-city kids at

      Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park, IL.
