Michele Trueba is a community-oriented realtor who currently serves clients through her firm, Avenue Real Estate, in Nashville, Tennessee. Outside of her professional life, Michele Trueba works in support of several area charities and nonprofits, including the Community Resource Center (CRC). Established in 1985, the CRC is a nonprofit organization that provides household necessities such as furniture, appliances, bedding, and personal hygiene items to individuals in need. The CRC also works with other nonprofits in providing them with these same items for distribution to their clients. As part of its efforts, the CRC conducts several programs and events aimed at facilitating the dispensation of much-needed supplies to the individuals and agencies that can best use them. These include people in transitional and affordable housing, children returning to school, and victims of flood disasters. In fact, since 2010, the CRC has distributed more than $3 million in items to flood survivors and has succeeded each year in delivering school supplies to over 60 separate agencies through its school supply giveaway program. In all, the CRC serves more than 90 nonprofits in middle Tennessee and plays a crucial role in allowing them to continue their important charitable work.
