A Connecticut-based attorney, Michele Parrotta is the principal of Michele Parrotta, Attorney at Law, of West Hartford. Ms. Parrotta has expertise in commercial real estate, construction and property management, residential real estate, asset-based lending, and general business practice. She also serves as the Special Counsel for Parrotta Construction and Management. Prior to her current positions, Michele Parrotta was a principal at Levy & Droney, P.C. She possesses extensive knowledge and experience representing lending institutions and property owners for international and domestic transactions. Ms. Parrotta has guided clients through all areas of construction, including financing of office, retail, and industrial properties; additionally, she has handled property tax related topics and management and operating contracts. Michele Parrotta earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Finance from Simmons College in Boston. She gained recognition for her academic excellence and was honored with the Roy M. Tollefson Award and King C. Gillette Award. Pursuing further academic and professional endeavors, Ms. Parrotta studied law at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, where she graduated with her Juris Doctor. Since establishing her legal career in 1983, Michele Parrotta has served several municipal designations. From 2000 to 2002, she was a member of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority. In 2005, she was appointed Justice of the Peace by the City of Hartford, a position she maintains today. Since 2011 she has been on the Board of Directors of the Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, Inc. Michele Parrotta belongs to the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Women’s Council; she is also a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
