Developed, planned and executed social media and content marketing strategies for professional service firms and Fortune 500 clients. Research and analyze social data on brands; Assess and clarify brand direction; Develop and execute brand, social media and content marketing strategies; Define editorial direction of content; Create, administer and post blog and social media content; Manage social media profiles and communities to ensure brand continuity and consistency; Monitor and analyze campaign metrics and site analytics; Train and coach on writing and social media communication.

Selected projects include:

Platform Development: Provided expertise on brand strategy for self-published author. Developed digital marketing plan, collaborated with web designer to enhance online brand, and ghost wrote blog and social media content.

Social Recruiting Strategy: Research and analyze social “buzz” for Fortune 500 corporations, and then develop actionable social recruiting strategies designed to attract, recruit and retain top talent.

Business Development: Designed marketing systems to better define service offerings. Implemented a streamlined communication process to capture leads and cultivate referrals throughout the buying cycle.

2006 - Present

Adjunct Professor

Formerly a member of the Steven G. Mihaylo College of Business and Economics adjunct faculty at California State University, Fullerton (2006). Currently serves in an adjunct professor role for Rio Salado College (2007 - present) and Grand Canyon University (2007 - present) instructing undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in English, entrepreneurship and organizational behavior both in person and online.

Founding Editor

The Integrated Mother

Founded and managed blog that provided content and resources for busy, career-minded mothers making sense of the work-life juggle.

Brand Strategy: Oversaw brand identity and marketing strategy, including Facebook fan page, LinkedIn networking group, Twitter, social networking site, press releases, and marketing materials.

Writing and Editorial Management: Defined editorial direction, developed communication plan, and wrote content for blog posts and email newsletter. 

  • Written work appeared in a variety of in-print and online publications including Redbook, SUCCESS magazine, Work It Mom!, Hybrid Mom, Divine Caroline and (served as the Phoenix Working Moms feature writer). Contributor to two books, This Day in the Life: Diaries from Women Across America (Three Rivers Press, 2005) and The Business Mom Guide Book: More Life, Less Overwhelm for Mom Entrepreneurs (Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing, 2006).

Strategic Alliances: Leveraged social networking to build relationships with clients, sponsors and advertisers including, Disney, ConAgra, and WNBA.

Professional Speaking: Facilitated and moderated online and in-person workshops and presentations on work/life effectiveness and flexible career paths.

Independent HR/OD Consultant


Consulted on organizational change and effectiveness initiatives for teams and organizations. Partnered with stakeholders to assess organizational gaps. Developed strategic plans to create productive workplaces, specifically in the areas of organizational change and employee engagement. Projects included assisting team of managers through corporate restructuring process, developing comprehensive leadership/succession planning program for growing financial firm, and leading work-life effectiveness seminars for internal women affinity groups. Additional services included, executive coaching and keynote speaking. 

1999 - 2003

Sr Training & OD Consultant

Overture (now Yahoo! Search Marketing)

Responsible for organization-wide, multi-level learning and development initiatives. Gained executive support of employee development programs by effectively communicating business case and delivering on performance goals. Key projects:

  • Worked alongside technical development team to create and deliver custom CRM system training program for more than 200 employees. Managed entire development process, translated technical documentation into compelling training materials and delivered classes over several weeks.
  • Through company's explosive growth, initiated diversity management program for senior-level staff to ensure best practices were in place as workplace changed and grew.
  • Certified to lead The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People workshop, which quickly became the most popular program delivered. Customized traditional three-day workshop to accommodate a variety of audiences from front-line customer service staff to senior executive leaders.
  • Led change for a more family-friendly workplace that resulted in the development of work-life effectiveness programs and benefits, including an on-site lactation room for nursing, return-to-work mothers.
1998 - 1999

Sr Technical Trainer

Responsible for developing and delivering MAS90 (mid-range accounting software) training to end-users, resellers and technical support. Key highlights include:

  • Consistently ranked top training facilitators by both internal and external participants.
  • Assisted in major remodel of instructional materials, which results in increased participation in five-day workshop.
  • Honored as Employee of the Year in 1999 for high integrity and quality of work.
1997 - 1997

Training & Installations Representative

Symitar Systems Inc.

Responsible for delivering on-site user training to credit union clients. Served as key point of technical support for client during installation, a process that lasted six to 12 weeks.




The Coaches Training Institute

Completed intensive, experiential Co-active® Coach Training program, an in-depth five-class series that is widely recognized as the most dynamic in the industry for teaching people to take relationships and conversations to a completely different level.



Fielding Graduate University

Completed rigorous graduate studies focused on how to create and manage organizational change and effectiveness. Also completed post-graduate certificate in Online Learning and Coaching (now called Virtual Classroom certificate) in late-2004.




Completed well-regarded executive training program for entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least three years and want to develop their management skills. Worked alongside top UCLA business professors to develop a Business Improvement Project (BIP), a detailed strategic plan, that resulted in the acquisition of large contracts post-graduation. Chosen to be class speaker for graduation ceremonies.
