About  Michel Bouasria

An accomplished IT sales executive with more than two decades of experience, Michel Bouasria most recently served as the Eastern Canada director of sales for Vormetric, Inc. Initially joining the company in 2013 when it had no presence in the region, he closed several new and strategic accounts in the area, including one with the country’s second-largest pharmaceutical company. Additionally, Michel Bouasria built a number of consulting relationships with customers and partners through guest-speaking events and formed a crucial IBM-DATA partnership that helped Vormetric outgrow bookings in the territory.

Michel Bouasria began his long career as a territory manager for Cisco Systems. He was a top performer during the four years he held this position and was responsible for launching the first Cisco Canadian users group. His accomplishments led to a promotion to major accounts manager for Quebec and eventually director of Cisco Systems Canada. Following his tenure with Cisco, Mr. Bouasria held such roles as director of sales for Excendia and Trend Micro Canada before starting his current position.
