Controller of translations

I worked as a final controller of translations and my main duty was to ensure that there were no mistakes in them in terms of actual translation, grammar, graphic layout etc. I used software Trados and MS Word 2003 and 2007. I learnt how to organize large files of documents, how to communicate with my supervisors and how to work under time pressure.

Studied at Faculty of International Relations, specialization in International Business. Undergraduate degree cum laude earned in June 2011. Bachelor thesis on the topic of "Prospects of Iceland's membership of the European Union in the context of economic crisis" successfully defended.

During my studies both in Prague and in Toronto, I have worked on many group projects and presentations. I know how important a teamwork is in business and I always try my best to help my team achieve its goal.

Driving license

I received my driving license in January 2008. I also have an international driving license (both Vienna and Geneva version).

Computer skills

As far as computer and IT knowledge is concerned, I can work with MS Office, I am active on social media, contributing to TripAdvisor.com. Overall, I think I can adapt very easily to any new software I get my hands on.
