Business owner and attorney Michael G. Wilsker has spent his legal career focusing on residential and commercial real estate law, while pursuing a diverse array of interests that include history, politics, and youth development. Mr. Wilsker is the owner of Michael Grant Wilsker & Associates, as well as Just Like Family, a company providing in-home elder care.
As a student at the University of New Mexico, Michael G. Wilsker worked as a Peer Crisis Counselor, work that is reflected in his later involvement with the Big Brother Big Sisters of America. Mr. Wilsker also spent his student years involved in politics. He served as an Intern for former Congressman Andrew Maguire of New Jersey. Mr. Wilsker also volunteered for the political campaigns of Robert Kennedy and Mo Udall, among others.
After receiving his Juris Doctor (JD) from New England School of Law-Boston, Michael G. Wilsker worked as an Associate Attorney with Lipton & Pemstein, then with Cohen & Kushner, PC. During this same period, Mr. Wilsker worked as an instructor to students studying for their real estate broker exams. He followed these positions by assuming the role of Regional Manager for Closings, Ltd. In his managerial capacity, he was responsible for maintaining an error-free real estate closing process.
At Closings, Ltd., Michael G. Wilsker was also responsible for maintaining effective client relationships, a skill that he would carry into subsequent work. During his tenure at Wilsker & Benson, then at Wilsker, Hennessy & Vacca, PC, Mr. Wilsker continued to attract and develop relationships with clients. The expertise that he developed during this time aided him in his own successful business ventures.
