WORK

From September 2006 - September 2007 I worked as a Web Developer with the flagship NHS Hospital, Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank. In this time, I built 2 Web Sites and 1 Intranet system. Skills in this job included Web Standards, Search Engine Optimisation, eNewsletter, MySQL Database, PHP, ASP development, Graphic design with Adobe Photoshop and light Flash work.

From September 2007 until present, I have worked with leading Ayrshire design agency, Ocean Agency, as the sole Web Developer.

This role involves developing web sites for all kinds of clients.

Typically, I take a design, translate this into a standards-based, accessible template and integrate it either into an Open Source CMS, or a Custom-built CMS, depending on clients needs.

I like to think I'm always eager to learn new technologies to give me the edge and build both my skillset and the company reputation. Currently I am learning CodeIgniter, PHP OOP and C#(.NET).

I feel I am an extremely self-motivated individual with a desire to work with exciting, professional individuals and give my best to each project I encounter.
