For over 18 years, Mike Massicott has lived and worked in the Atlanta, Georgia, area as a communications and marketing professional. In that time, he has developed a solid career specializing in advertising sales and marketing strategies for collegiate and military academy publications. From his first job out of college as a sales representative for academic alumni publications to his current position as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Pentagon Publishing, Inc., Mike Massicott has developed extensive knowledge within the publishing field and how it has changed over the last decade.

Mike Massicott studied Speech Communications at the University of Georgia and soon joined Collegiate Concepts, Inc., a publishing house that sold ad space in publications for colleges, as well as maritime and military academy alumni. After a brief stint in education management, he joined Pentagon Publishing, Inc., where he has served for the past 15 years. Along with his experience as the company’s leading sales representative, Mike Massicott has joined the executive ranks of the company and oversees client development, communications and marketing strategies, and relationship building. Under Mr. Massicott’s leadership, Pentagon Publishing has struck a balance between selling ad space in traditional publications for the U.S. military service academies and top-flight engineering schools across the country, to leveraging online properties for a client’s benefit.

Aside from Mike Massicott’s leadership in marketing and communications at Pentagon Publishing, he is also involved with his community. Mr. Massicott has two children, and he and wife are involved with his wife in their school PTA. As an Assistant Troop Leader for the local Boy Scout group, he has helped write and publish a guidebook for new members. Mike Massicott also participates in local discussions regarding zoning ordinances and other civic matters. Along with his wife and children, Mike Massicott is an active hiker, biker, and camper in the Atlanta area.
