Michael Konig is a dedicated philanthropist who has worked to improve the lives and education of others. He created a foundation for Holocaust remembrance and supports many Jewish and Israeli causes. He established a Chesed L'Avraham orphanage and founded the rabbinical school Etz Chaim, both institutions in Israel. Michael Konig also created Samuel J. Konig Middle School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Aside from his philanthropic work, Michael Konig is a talented musician skilled in the clarinet and saxophone. He is also one of the founders of the Neginah Orchestra. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and basketball, shooting pool, and collecting fine watches. Michael Konig holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Long Island University in Brookville, New York. At the age of 20, he became Head Administrator of Northfield Manor Nursing Home in West Orange, New Jersey, turning it around from bankruptcy to profitability and earning it a reputation as one of the best nursing homes in the state. Michael Konig then joined Continental Health Affiliates, Inc., a home health care and long-term care facilities company, until he began independently buying, restructuring, and managing nursing homes throughout the East Coast. Mr. Konig owned 60 to 70 nursing homes and sold each one for a profit. He has also been involved in other real estate ventures, possessing a successful record of buying and selling a variety of properties. Currently, he serves as the founder and President of Broadway Healthcare Management, a health care services and nursing home management company located in Hackensack, New Jersey. Mr. Konig is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
