Strategic Initiatives:

  • Implemented power rotation and segmentation to leverage team members' strengths and pursue revenue growth, while maintaining a professional, branded approach. 
  • Designed and implemented the Post-Tour Analysis, a tool for coaching and counseling representatives on the effective, branded sales presentation.
  • Instituted "Ride the Wave", a site-specific soft currency program, to improve the employment environment and further develop the business culture.

First director hired by Starwood Vacation Ownership after its acquisition of the Westin St. John. Charged with the development of a branded sales organization. Recruited and trained an entirely new sales force. Developed branded sales presentation for the new Westin Vacation Ownership product. Provided leadership to team, with accountability for sales forecasting and budget control. Met and exceeded budgeted revenues below budgeted cost.

  • Grew sales revenue from $3 million to $24 million in 5 years
  • Decreased sales and marketing costs by 65% in the same period
  • Increased gross margin over 300% in 4 years
