Tracks progressive disciple, annual evaluation, and recognition programs to ensure they are managed properly. Provides advice and mentorship to his people on a variety of career issues.

Executive Assistant to the Force Master Chief, a Flag Level Senior Enlisted Advisor, at Naval Special Warfare Command. Provided exceptional support and advice on pay and personnel matters affecting over 10,000 people.  Managed advancement and other career based programs, for an enlisted force of over 9, 000 Sailors. Researched policy on enlisted matters relating to progressive discipline, professional qualifications, and early dismissal of employees. The primary liaison between his boss and senior/ subordinate commands on matters ranging from training and advancement to uniform requirements.

Strike Fighter Squadron FOUR ONE, Lemoore California

Department Leading Chief Petty Officer

Led 20 personnel in 10 different ratings to provide pay, personnel, ADP, medical, and intelligence support to a squadron of 220 officer and enlisted personnel.  Used lessons learned from the Senior Enlisted Academy to break down barriers and improve relations between maintenance personnel and his department to improve customer service and overall mission readiness.  Oversaw the implementation of new travel software and ensure his people were trained on this software.  Managed the government credit card program and oversaw the change from Bank of America to Citibank.  Ensured this process did not impact training or deployment preparations. 

Naval ROTC Unit, University of Idaho, Moscow Idaho

Administration Officer

Administration Officer and Senior Enlisted Advisor for the NROTC Unit, University of Idaho.  Led two Senior Enlisted personnel in the training and development of more than 80 midshipmen and office candidates as they prepare for commissioning in the Navy and Marine Corps.  Managed TAD travel for students attending Officer Candidate School or obtaining commissioning physicals.  Provided classroom training to second semester seniors on administration and the officer/enlisted relationship.     

USS MAHAN (DDG 72), Norfolk Virginia

Ship's Secretary

Senior administrator on board the MAHAN.  Supervised personnel providing administrative, personnel, medical and career support for 330 officer and enlisted Sailors.  Mentor and advisor to junior officers on discipline and sailor recognition programs.  Attended Navy's Legal Officer School and served as the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer's primary advisor on legal issues.  Managed the travel and training programs.  Trained junior officers and sailors on watch standing requirements.  Worked with sailors to help them meet physical fitness standards.
