Rogers Pool and Spa Repair
Daily responsibilities were opening the store, making sure all employees received their duties for the day, and handling customers in the store. Customer service included handling and testing water samples from the customers, sales, preparing customer orders, and receiving orders from the warehouse. Replacing bearings and seals in pumps for customers and then delivering and installing these pumps at the customers house or business was common. Also, in the field my duties were cleaning residential and commercial pools, taking and testing water samples, and refurbishing older pools. This would usually involve replacing liners, tile, paint, and changing sand in and out of filters. Opening and closing pools was always a part of the job duties in the spring and fall.

Loader/ Non Con
Walmart Distribution Center
My daily routine was the loading of trucks for shipment. This process was done by inputting an order number into a computer correctly which would then allow a conveyer system to come to that particular truck. Then an order would begin to come down that conveyer where it was unloaded by myself and loaded into said truck. After a truck was loaded I would need to seal the closed truck and close it out in the computer to be shipped. I was and excellent team player in this environment. When my truck or trucks were loaded I would always move on to another team member truck to help with the loading process.
I was also in another department called Non-Con. This department was responsible for filling orders onto pallets and then moving these pallets onto trucks. I was a certified fork lift driver here as well and drove one extensively. For my work ethic in this department of over 500 associates I was awarded Employee of the Month 3 different times.

Operator a Ward corrugated press which built boxes with up to 3 different colors. This included taking job orders and determining the amount of ink needed in the press to fill a particular order. Also installing Die Plate on press, calibrating each order to ensure the quality of the boxes. And finally setting all the knives, glue, and rails on the press. Weekly maintenance included blowing off entire press inside and out, doctor blade maintenance which is what holds the ink, and lastly cleaning out the pit. In 2002 I was promoted to 3rd shift supervisor. Responsibilities included overseeing production and associates, training new hires, scheduling, shipping and receiving orders, and the regular safety and training meetings with all associates. On top of all this I was also a certified fork lift driver and would help out in this way as needed.
