Lived in Israel covering the ongoing conflict in the region for over a year. In the years following, covered Washington politics on Capitol Hill and traveled to cover the 2004 Presidential race for clients such as TIME, Corbis, & The New York Times.

University of Rochester, Lab for Laser Energetics

Worked as digital imaging specialist at the second largest nuclear fusion research facility. Duties included writing applications to aid in the analysis and archiving of thousands of scientific images as well as design of workflow applications for use by scientists and visiting researchers.
