Tulalip Boys & Girls Club

Entry Level Volunteer

Spent time building rapport with children/staff to determine needs; formed a team  with 4 other students to promote the club at a local career fair geared toward - educating high school students about resources/options and conducted a survey to determine any unmet needs for the B&G.

Event Management Volunteer

Lead a team of 4 through planning, coordinating, and successfully completing an event for 100 students K-8. Field day events with different stations based upon scheduled rotations (approximately every 30 minutes for 3 hrs) staged throughout the gym- promoting respect, team work, and physical fitness. After lunch, lead an art activity that aligns with and promotes positive self esteem and body image.

Junior Achievement

Volunteer Representative

Lead a local 5th grade class over an 8 week period and taught five lesson plans pertaining to employment, business demand for skilled workers, and introduced the concept of globalization. The various activities geared students for exploring advertising, career preparation, employers, STEM industries,  human and natural resources.
