Christina Miadich


My name is Christina Miadich and I am a senior at Ashland University. I am double majoring in public relations and strategic communications. I am a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honorary, which is an honorary for communication studies students that have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a major GPA of 3.25 or higher. I am also the Vice President of Accent on PR which is the public relations club on campus. One of the things that we do is update and write blogs for the communication studies blog. This can be found at In addition, I work in the public relations office on AU's campus and I am a peer tutor for communication studies classes in the Academic Support Center.

Rosatis Frozen Custard

I have been employed at Rosatis Frozen Custard for almost five years and this season will be my third year as a manager. As one of the managers of the Twinsburg location I am in charge of opening/closing the store depending on the schedule. For opening hours I put together the machines and make the flavors of custard as well as taking customers orders and giving tasks for the other employees working. For closing hours the same jobs are required as well as cleaning up at the end of the night, counting and sorting the cash registers, and locking the store up.

Ashland University Public Relations Office

I am a student assistant for the public relations office on the Ashland University campus. I am responsible for creating rosters for clubs, organizations, and other groups on campus. I also write and edit news releases for the students hometown local newspapers. Going along with the news releases, I also send them out to the newspapers using our ReadMedia website and update monthly tracking sheets of every release that has been sent out. Other jobs that I have are assisting in creating a news center website for the university and occasionally going to events on campus and taking photos.

Peer Tutor

Ashland University Academic Support Center

I recently became a peer tutor at Ashland University. I tutor classes within the communication studies department. I meet with students within the department that need help with their classes and explain and look over assignments that they are working on.
