Mark brings over 19 years’ experience in high technology recruiting and systems development and has a Bachelor’s degree from St. Leo College in Human Resource Administration.Mark’s management and in-depth hands on experience in all areas of workforce planning and heads down recruiting allow him to see the big picture and understand client’s needs.

For the past 3 years, Mark has been the SVP of Workforce Mgt with Fujitsu Consulting. In this challenging role, he managed a 9M budget and led a global 80-member team that consisted of Recruiters, Sourcers, Coordinators, Resource Managers and Resume Writers. For 13 quarters strait Mark hit his talent quota of 90% or better. Mark was the only company execuitive to meet or exceed employee expectations and industry standards in Fujitsu national employee satifaction survey.

Prior to Fujitsu Consulting Mark, spend 6 years with Siebel Systems, Inc., the fastest growing software company in history and the market leader in the CRM space. As the Global Director, Mark turned a fragmented 8 person organization into a flourishing 40 member international recruiting solution.Early on with Siebel Mark was tasked with global management and recruiting for the Siebel Sales organization.

Sr. Vice President Workforce Management

Hired by President as an independent consultant to lead Fujitsu Consulting integration of Recruiting and Resource management in the US and India through a very aggressive 4 company acquisition and integration.Upon successful completion of this initiative, I was asked by the executive management committee to stay on as SVP of Workforce Management and lead this 80 member global team made up of Recruiters, Resource Mangers, Resume Writers and Vendor Mgt. During this time I continued to consolidate and reduce cost by 50% while at the same time increasing and meeting our staffing quota of over 200 new hires a quarter without the use of contingency firms. Other strategic initiatives included a complete revamping of the recruiters compensation plan, reorganization of the offshore sourcing model, US practice based recruiting relationships and a complete outsourced Vendor Management solution.In the first year of the VM, implementation has had a ROI of over 3M because of recovered fees, reduced bill rates, back office efficiencies, and higher productivity allowing us to reduce headcount without jeopardizing service.

After starting with Siebel as an independent consultant to help build and end-to-end recruiting solution for Sales I was asked to stay on as Global Recruiting Sales Manger.I lead a team of 15 recruiters as well as had “Account Management” relationships with the Business Unit Leaders, Vice Presidents and Hiring Managers to ensure the fulfillment (and eventually anticipation) their hiring requirements.After 3 years of successfully managing sales recruiting, I was asked to lead a global team that exceeded 30+ recruiters, support staff and research teams.This included identifying cost-effective opportunities to market Recruiting within our business space,developing plans to seamlessly design, implement, and integrate in-business processes with corporate wide talent management and succession planning strategy, framework, and processes.
