Florita Coakley

I am a job seeker looking to apply my experience in the legal, hospitality, and non profit sectors in an event coordinator/planner or catering coordinator/planner position.

My experience working with legal and business professionals as well as the retail and hospitality industries has prepared me to work effectively with professionalism in a fast-paced environment with numerous demands. I have worked in the fast-paced retail and service industries for 8 years, which has exposed me to various people, personalities, and situations.

Since becoming involved with a local nonprofit organization, my skill set has expanded to include several aspects of event planning such as invitations, menu planning and selection, media marketing, logistics, support services, securing venues, soliciting sponsors, reconciliation, wrap-up, and evaluation.  I am very excited an event coordinator/planner because it will combine my experience in the customer service, and legal industries, while allowing me to call upon my communication, people, and conflict resolution skills in order to effectively plan and an execute events, enhance customer satisfaction, and build a broad client base.
