I worked for the Human Capital and Strategic Change practice assisting clients with their enterprise wide transformation initiatives enabled by SAP ERP.

During my last project I worked as the Global Training lead for an enterprise wide SAP implementation for a $5 billion Specialty Chemicals company. I joined the project in Oct. 2006 for the first phase covering Americas (USA, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela) and the second phase covering the EU region.

Phase One: Based in Cleveland - OH (Oct 2006 to Mar 2008)

I was recruited as the Global Training Consultant working as counterpart to the client Global Training Coordinator to design, implement and support SAP training for super users and end users. In a secondary role, I supported the Brazilian implementation team during the requirements gathering, design, and validation phases.  The first phase covered over 25 different locations and more than 1500 users.

Phase Two: Based in Brussels - Belgium (Mar 2008 to Feb 2009)

I worked as the Training lead for the European deployment phase, which includes 6 countries and more than 700 users.

  • Designed, implemented and supported global training plan for 2200+ end users, including site role mappings
  • Participated and led workshops for plant locations to understand their training needs and enable a sustainable training program
  • Mapped 3000+ end users with generic roles and SAP base roles as well as provided the Basis team with security information
  • Extended MS Access training databases, including SAP role mapping and scheduling data as well as creating reports necessary to convey project status and metrics
  • Configured LSMW (SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench) to load transactional data in the training environment
  • Developed .Net program to read excel files and update MS Access training tables
  • Acted as the RWD InfoPak (automated documentation tool) administrator (including configuration of SAP Content Help in English, Spanish, Dutch and German)
  • Trained Procurement super users on the creation of training data (Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order)
  • Participated in the creation of PR, SD and FI design documents and swim lanes
  • Documented 200+ SAP transactions (PR and SD) using Info Pak
  • Participated in the global requirements workshops for the Blue Print phase to document business impact changes for Finance
  • Participated in the global design workshops to validate requirements for Brazil taxes and Nota Fiscal

  • Developed training material for FI (AP/AR) and PS modules

Contacted last-minute to fly to Trinidad to deliver four days of Info Pak training for 25+ end users (SAP Consultants and NGC End Users).

  • Delivered a four day Info Pak training course covering Publisher, Simulator, Glossary, Web Architect, Configuring Tool and Help Launchpad in a formal classroom setting at the customer site
