Utility Worker - Inventory Accountant
Inventory accountant proactively manage inventory levels for a high-volume warehousing/distribution electrical and maintenance facility. • Contributed to reducing inventory by depleting obsolescent items adding to nearly 200,000 dollars in inventory total, for the OSB Public Utilities branch. • Monitor and maintain integrity over inventory data that deals with the valuing and bookkeeping for changes within inventoried assets • Abided by all initiatives implemented by the City of Houston officials, and recognized for a well-structured SOP, and OSHA guideline environment. • Assist city employees with high and low expensed merchandise required for their everyday utilization • Conduct numerous spreadsheets and analysis in time frames of quarterly audits
